Valparaiso City Tour
Full day tour
Description
Experience in details
Just an hour and a half from Santiago, you can visit this port city on the Pacific coast. The main commercial port of Chile has a unique identity that is recognized throughout the world.
Below you can see a general itinerary to see different sectors of the city, but since this is a private tailor-made trip, you can decide on the same day based on your interests and the experience of your guide.
A culture of its own mixed with the European influence gives a very particular architecture from the port to the hills that surround it. Wooden constructions, colorful tin cladding, alleys, and stairs to walk and discover street art, boutique shops, music, local gastronomy, and spectacular viewpoints of the bay.
These places of interest have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and to visit them we will also use elevators from the 19th century declared a national monument.
We will start the tour in the lower part: the port, the main square, and then the protected area, and then climb the hills that surround them.
In the afternoon we will visit the rock cliffs at the coast and on our way back to Santiago, a vineyard in the Casablanca Valley.
There is a lot to discover in this city in one day, we include the must-sees, but the guide can also adapt this experience for you.
