our story
I grew up in a family of artists and nature lovers, in the foothills of Santiago, where my connection with the outdoors began early.
Studying Ecotourism and working as a guide in Torres del Paine gave me the chance to lead travelers from all over the world through Patagonia.
After a few seasons, I returned to Santiago and realized something simple: that same feeling of reconnection could be experienced here too, in the hills, valleys, and landscapes that shaped me.
That’s how Ecordua was born in 2017, with the idea of offering authentic, high-quality experiences for those who want to explore Chile in a genuine way. The pandemic paused everything for two years, but we came back stronger in 2022.
In 2024, Camila, my wife, joined the team, bringing a strategic vision and focusing on improving our processes, guest experience, and overall growth.
In 2025, we opened our first office to welcome travelers, partners, and our staff.
Today, we are four full-time team members, supported by a network of guides, drivers, arrieros, and local experts across Chile who share our values and bring each experience to life in a safe, authentic, and meaningful way.
Being part of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and contributing to 1% for the Planet reflects our commitment to responsible tourism and conservation.
We want everyone who travels with us to feel part of a community, exploring nature, connecting with people, and creating memories that last. We invite you to rediscover Chile with us.
Ecordua was born to share what we love most: exploring nature in an authentic way, with respect and admiration.
We believe in responsible tourism, in connecting with the environment, and in high-quality experiences that go beyond just a simple tour.
Every adventure is an opportunity to discover, learn, and create meaningful memories.
We invite you to explore Chile from a genuine, close, and passionate perspective.

Paloma San Martín
Guide
I studied Expedition and Ecotourism Engineering and turned a lifelong passion for nature and outdoor adventure into my profession.
Growing up, I was fortunate to explore Chile’s natural landscapes through camping, adventure, and discovering hidden places, experiences that eventually inspired my path as a guide.
Guiding allows me to share meaningful moments with travelers while fostering a deeper appreciation for nature and conservation.
I enjoy activities that challenge me to keep learning outdoors, especially rock climbing and horseback riding. Time in the mountains and guiding horseback excursions are among the experiences I value most.
Valentina Salah
Operations - Office manager
I studied Adventure Tourism and Ecotourism at Duoc UC, inspired by a lifelong connection with nature that began through camping trips with my dad.
During my studies, I specialized in the marine environment and completed my internship at a diving center, where I discovered the importance of organization and management in creating safe and responsible experiences.
At Ecordua, I focus on operations and logistics, helping ensure every experience runs smoothly for both travelers and our team.
