Torres del Paine Tours, Guided by Local Experts

Private day tours, self-guided treks, and tailor-made itineraries in Patagonia’s most iconic landscape. Designed and run by our team.

Torres del Paine is where granite towers rise from windswept pampas, where glaciers carve pristine valleys, and where a handful of days can feel like a lifetime of discovery.

We design and run our own tours in Torres del Paine, working with local guides we trust and small groups by default. Whether you have three days, want to trek the legendary W, or need something custom — we put the experience together based on what you actually want to see, not on a fixed schedule.

This is not a sprint through the postcard sites. It’s time to breathe in one of the most dramatic places on Earth, at a pace that lets you absorb it.

How many days do I need in Torres del Paine?

Three full days gives you a real taste without rushing. Five is ideal — you can trek, lodge-stay, and experience local culture. Seven-plus lets you do the W Trek or O Circuit without pressure. It depends on your schedule and what you want to do.

Yes. The park is very safe. Weather is the main variable — it changes fast and can close trails. We monitor conditions and always have a Plan B. Your guide carries satellite communication on remote routes.

Our day tours range from easy (Panoramic, Estancia) to moderate-demanding (Base of Torres, French Valley). Multi-day treks require moderate fitness — 5–7 hours of hiking per day, uphill. Tell us your fitness level and we design accordingly. Fitness matters more than age.

Yes. Both are available self-guided (you book refugios, carry your pack, we provide route notes) or with guided sections. The W is 4–5 days; the O Circuit is 7–9 days. We can advise which suits you.

September to November (spring) is our recommendation — comfortable temps, clear weather, fewer crowds. December to February is busiest. March to May is autumn-beautiful. June to August is cold but offers solitude.

No. Most of our clients are fit but not technical. Our guides teach as you go, and we run day hikes rather than climbing. That said, some hikes (Base of Torres, French Valley) need moderate fitness and a good attitude toward wind and elevation.

Day tours range from roughly USD 180–300 per person. Multi-day treks and custom itineraries depend on duration, lodge level, and how much is private vs. shared. Tell us what you’re thinking and we’ll quote.

Absolutely. Most travelers combine with Atacama, Santiago, or Argentine Patagonia. We design multi-region journeys with flights, transfers, and logistics all covered.

When to Visit and How to Get There

When

Torres del Paine works year-round, but the seasons differ in meaningful ways:

September to November (spring): Comfortable temperatures, fewer travelers, clear nights. Our favorite months — consistent weather, good light, manageable crowds.

December to February (summer): Warmest, longest daylight, busiest. The W Trek refugios book solid. Go if you prefer guaranteed daylight hours and don’t mind company.

March to May (autumn): Golden light, fewer people, weather still stable. Excellent for hiking.

June to August (winter): Cold early mornings, shorter daylight, some refugios and services reduce. Solitude and dramatic skies if you’re prepared.

Getting there

Fly from Santiago to Calama (CJC), roughly two hours. From Calama, San Pedro de Atacama is a 1.5-hour transfer by shuttle or private car. We arrange the transfer for travelers booking with us.
