A half-day private walk through Santiago’s historic center, viewpoints, and everyday local life

If you have just half a day in Santiago and want a meaningful introduction to the city and the country, this private walking tour is a great place to begin.

We can either meet in the city center or pick you up at your accommodation, depending on your location and preferences.

From there, we explore Santiago on foot, and, when useful, by public transport, to experience the city in a more natural and local way.

We walk through the historic center, visiting places such as the Presidential Palace, the former Congress, Plaza de Armas, and Santa Lucía Hill, where the city was founded, while also passing by historic churches, universities, and everyday corners that help tell the story of Santiago beyond the usual tourist route.

Depending on your interests, there is also the option to visit the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, which we highly recommend for travelers wanting a deeper cultural introduction to Chile and Latin America.

We finish in Lastarria, one of our favorite neighborhoods in the city, where cafés, small galleries, restaurants, and local life come together in a more relaxed and creative atmosphere.

It’s also a great place to stay for lunch, coffee, or a rooftop drink after the tour, and we’ll be happy to recommend some of our favorite local spots.

Further down, you’ll find pricing, inclusions, and everything you need to plan your tour.
