The first rays of sunlight, 15 moáis, and a truly unique moment on the island

We start early at 6:30 AM with pickup from your accommodation to witness one of the most spectacular moments on Rapa Nui: the sunrise at Ahu Tongariki.

This archaeological site is the largest and most impressive on the island, featuring 15 restored moáis standing proudly before the Pacific Ocean.

From this sacred place, you’ll watch as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the moáis, creating a breathtaking and energy-filled atmosphere. Ahu Tongariki was devastated by a tsunami in 1960 and later restored, returning it to its full splendor and allowing us to witness this unforgettable scene today.

After sunrise, we’ll take some time to soak in the surroundings and capture photos of this natural spectacle before heading back to your accommodation. A magical experience that will connect you with the spirit of Rapa Nui.

We had an outstanding tour of Chile. Perhaps too short but we all must return to work. Good choices good service fun and exciting times for each event. We really enjoyed meeting Josefina and the Pucón options were amazing. Thank you and we look forward to our next adventures in Chile!
