A winter day in the high Andes, fresh snow, mountain silence, and a landscape that most visitors never discover.
After picking you up from your hotel, we head into the Andes, about 1.5 to 2 hours from Santiago, leaving the city behind and climbing toward a world of snow, silence, and open mountain terrain.
All equipment is provided: snowshoes, trekking poles, and gaiters. Before setting off, your guide will fit everything and give you a short introduction. You’ll be moving comfortably within the first twenty minutes, no previous experience needed.
The route is selected on the day based on snow conditions and your group’s fitness level: either the Lagunillas area in Cajón del Maipo, with its sweeping glaciated peaks, or the Farellones area, known for open ridgelines and wide panoramic views.
We walk for around four hours total, with a mid-day box lunch break with mountain views before heading back to Santiago.
Further down, you’ll find pricing, inclusions, and everything you need to plan your tour.

We recommend bringing an extra pair of shoes and socks.

How is the destination decided? The final zone, Cajón del Maipo or Farellones — is selected based on current snow conditions, weather forecasts, and road access. We’ll confirm the plan the day before your experience.
What if the weather is bad on the day? In case of extreme weather or conditions that make the activity unsafe, we’ll contact you in advance to reschedule, switch to a different experience, or arrange a full refund.
