Tour booking conditions
- THE CONTRACT
By booking a trip with us, you agree to these Booking Conditions.
No contract will be considered finalized until Ecordua has received the following:
- A signed booking form from the Customer, and
- The required deposit or full payment for the Tour.
- DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total amount is due and payable upon initiating the reservation.
If your booking is made within 45 days of the departure date, the full amount is payable at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified for specific situations.
All payments must be made by one of the following methods:
- a) Credit card,
- b) Checking account, or
- c) Chilean account transfer.
3. CHANGE IN TOUR PRICE
All prices quoted are in United States Dollars ($) and are valid for the specified travel dates.
Tour prices are subject to change based on currency fluctuations, taxes or fees charged at airports and ports, accommodation costs, sightseeing fees, or other external factors beyond our control.
Any increase or decrease in price will be the responsibility of or refunded to the Customer.
Ecordua will not increase the tour price within 15 days prior to your arrival date. If any surcharge results in an increase of more than 10% of the trip price, you have the option to cancel the booking within 14 days of being notified about the surcharge and receive a full refund. Once the tour is fully paid, Ecordua will not impose any surcharges on the booking.
4. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
If you need to cancel your tour reservation, please provide written notification to Ecordua. The effective date of cancellation will be the date Ecordua receives the written notification, and the following cancellation fees will apply per person, per journey:
* 45 days or more prior to departure: We will retain the deposit.
* 30 to 44 days prior to departure: The cancellation fee is 30% of the total cost.
* 10 to 29 days prior to departure: The fee is 50% of the total tour cost.
* Less than 10 days prior to departure: We will retain 100% of the tour price.
5. CANCELLATION BY ECORDUA
If the tour is not paid for by the due date, Ecordua reserves the right to cancel the Tour.
Ecordua may also cancel a trip at any time before departure if it becomes unfeasible for us to operate the planned itinerary due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, or other external events.
If we cancel a trip, you can choose to apply the amounts paid toward an alternative trip or receive a full refund.
Please note that we are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights.
6. REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds can be made for accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport, or any other services included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member during the trip.
7. CHANGE OF ITINERARY
While Ecordua strives to provide the tour itinerary as planned, we reserve the right to alter itineraries, transportation, and/or accommodation if necessary. In the event of a major
