Climb one of the most active volcanoes in the world with a private guide.
Climbing Villarrica is one of the most classic experiences in southern Chile.
This active volcano offers panoramic views and a steaming crater at the summit.
Your guide will provide all the technical gear, go over the safety details, and explain the plan for the day.
From the base of the volcano, at around 1,250 meters above sea level, the hike takes between 5 and 6 hours.
At 2,200 meters, the glacier begins, and we cross it following a safe, established route.
The summit is at 2,847 meters above sea level.
From there, the views are spectacular: lakes like Villarrica, Calafquén, and Caburgua; native forests, rivers, and other volcanoes such as Lanín, Llaima, and Lonquimay.
The descent is fast and fun, combining hiking with sections where we slide down the snow.
Back at the office, we end the experience with a shared snack and some time to relax.

Regulatory Compliance
We would love to be everywhere in Chile, but for now our direct operations are based in Santiago.
To take you further, we work with carefully selected local operators who share our standards of quality, safety, and authenticity.
These operators comply with all current regulations required by Chile’s National Tourism Service (SERNATUR), and for technical activities we also rely on certified professional guides specialized in their discipline.
