I reached out to Joaquin to plan a family trip to Patagonia, recommended by a friend who also planned their trip with Ecordua. Joaquin is very friendly and was very patient, helping me plan what initially felt like an overwhelming itinerary. We were able to coordinate everything without any issues through WhatsApp and phone calls. I appreciated the various recommendations Joaquin provided, including logistical details that helped us optimize our time there. He was also flexible with the changes we made and organized everything using an online itinerary system to keep track day by day. While we didn’t do the tour with Joaquin directly, his contacts in the Patagonia region were just as reliable and high-quality. I would recommend Ecordua’s services to anyone.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable trekking clothes (quick-dry layers, down jacket, waterproof windbreaker – Goretex or similar), hat, bandana, and gloves. Use waterproof trekking boots or trail running shoes, and bring sun protection (sunglasses with strap, cap, and sunscreen). A small backpack and water bottle are also recommended.

How much walking is involved?

You will walk approximately two hours in total, divided into short walks to different viewpoints.

Why aren’t the park entrance and navigation ticket included?

We don’t include the park entrance because the fee varies by nationality and age. Also, the basic entrance pass is valid for three days, which offers flexibility if you plan to revisit the park on your own. The Grey III navigation ticket is not included because weather conditions in Patagonia are unpredictable, and the service may not operate on certain days. In such cases, your guide will adjust the itinerary to ensure an enjoyable experience.

Can children or older adults join the tour?

Yes, we can tailor the route and walking distances to accommodate families with children or older adults.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Let us know your dietary restrictions in the registration form we’ll send you after booking, and we’ll adapt the picnic to meet your needs.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable?

Patagonian weather is unpredictable. In case of extreme conditions, we will adjust the route or reschedule the tour based on what’s safest and most enjoyable for the group.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Yes, there will be bathrooms at the park entrance, at the Administration, and in the Grey Lake sector.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. In case of extreme weather or force majeure, we’ll offer you the option to reschedule, switch to a different tour, or receive a full refund.
