What should I bring?
Comfortable walking clothes, appropriate footwear, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), a water bottle (ideally reusable), a small backpack, and a light jacket or fleece. La Campana Park is usually warmer than other areas of central Chile, but the day before your tour, we will send you the weather forecast so you can prepare accordingly.
Do I need previous experience?
Not at all. This is a customizable tour, so we adapt it to your group’s conditions.
What trekking options are available?
You can choose between a hike to the waterfall in the Ocoa sector or a traverse from Ocoa to Granizo. You can also ascend to the summit of Cerro La Campana from the Granizo sector. We will guide you to choose the best option depending on weather conditions, your interests, and your experience level.
What kind of flora and fauna can I find?
The park hosts incredible biodiversity, including Jubaea chilensis, the southernmost native palm in the world, and a sclerophyllous forest in the Granizo sector.
